Kevin Layton is an accomplished entrepreneur, executive, and business advisor with more than 30 years of experience building, scaling, acquiring, and leading businesses across technology, government contracting, digital marketing, and professional services.

Kevin began his entrepreneurial journey at age 17 when he evaluated the acquisition of a dairy operation while attending Penn State University. That early experience sparked a lifelong passion for business strategy, growth, and value creation.

His corporate career includes leadership positions with GE Aerospace, Saab Sensis, Lockheed Martin, and SRA International, where he ultimately served as Senior Vice President of Technical Operations for the publicly traded $1.8 billion government technology company. In 2013, Kevin transitioned back into entrepreneurship as CEO of Data-Dynamix, a digital marketing company recognized on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies for two consecutive years.

Beyond his executive leadership roles, Kevin has personally owned, operated, acquired, and sold multiple businesses. His experience includes franchise ownership, international consulting, technology ventures, and B2B business development. Having lived and worked in Australia, Germany, and the Czech Republic, he brings a global perspective to every client engagement.

Today, Kevin advises business owners on growth strategies, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and exit preparation. His unique background as both an operator and advisor allows him to understand the opportunities, challenges, and emotions involved in building and transitioning a business.
